PrecisionIR Announces 2005 Schedule of Investor Forums
Thirty-Eight Analyst-Style Forums Will Connect Investors and Company Executives
Richmond, VA –October 27, 2004 – PrecisionIR has scheduled 38 Informed Investors Forums for 2005, focusing primarily on the biotechnology, technology, and security sectors. Informed Investors Forums, a service within PrecisionIR’s line of investor communication services, provides corporate executives a format for making analyst-style presentations about their company to institutional and high net-worth individual investors who are following the company or industry. The investors who attend these events have an average net worth of $1,056,522 and an average household income of $174,788, as identified by WILink’s 2004 investor demographic research.
Informed Investors hosts both virtual and onsite events, which allow attendees to hear “straight from the source” information from companies they are tracking. The format is similar to an institutional conference; where a senior executive represents the presenting company to give an overview of the company’s operations, strategic plan and a business outlook. The forum schedule covers multiple industry sectors from energy to security to pharmaceutical and biotechnology. Former presenting companies include TASER International, YM Biosciences Inc., Harley-Davidson, Avant Immunotherapeutics, White Electronic Designs and Winnebago Industries, Inc. Six forums in 2005 will focus on international markets and will be held in sponsorship with the New York Stock Exchange.
Throughout 2004, Informed Investors Forums attracted an average of 465 investors per event, of which 80 were institutional investors.
