PrecisionIR Connects US and European Investor Relations Professionals for Transatlantic Debate on Global IR Developments

First webcast debate joins representatives from the global Virtual Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the UK Investor Relations Society (IRS)

RICHMOND, VA – May 4, 2007 – PrecisionIR Group, a worldwide provider of online investor relations services and web-based communication solutions, today announced its involvement in pioneering the start of a global Investor Relations dialogue between the National Investor Relations Institute Virtual Chapter and the IRS (The Investor Relations Society, UK) to share and learn from transatlantic IR experiences.

At the 21st IRS Conference (19th April 2007), PrecisionIR produced a transatlantic webcast session to review IR developments in the US and their likely impact in Europe. This webcast, entitled “Letters from America” showcased representatives from US companies detailing how one company responded to shareholder activism and how another dealt with the demands of the ever tightening regulatory environment in the United States. A lively question and answer session enabled a global discussion of the issues. The presentation was broadcast at the IRS conference and the replay is available online at http://www.vcall.com/IC/CEPage.asp?ID=116188.

“In line with the current momentum of financial markets’ globalization and due to fast moving changes surrounding Investor Relations regulations and reporting requirements, a more international review and approach to IR communications is needed,” says Donald De Laria, Vice President - Investor Relations, Regal Entertainment Group and President of the NIRI Virtual Chapter. “The NIRI Virtual Chapter has an international membership and by establishing platforms for discussion with key international players such as the IRS and PrecisionIR, we are building a universal IR connection that will contribute to a stronger and more rewarding global IR arena.”

Participants in the global web presentation include: Anita Novak, Director of Investor Relations, EMC Insurance Group; Lenny Santiago, Manager, Corporate and Investor Communications, International Speedway Corporation; Bill Jenks, Director, Makinson Cowell, and Lee Godfrey, Chief Operating Officer, PrecisionIR Group as moderator.

“It is essential that the IR community understands the impact of recent international changes,” said Lee Godfrey, chief operating officer for PrecisionIR Group and Sr. Director of the NIRI Virtual Chapter’s International Committee, “and as a global IR service, PrecisionIR is pleased to assist IR professionals’ continuing education and development in this area. We sponsor the ongoing NIRI E-Learning program and the IRS Professional Development Programme, so this opportunity to facilitate a global connection between IR professionals and encourage more open dialogue is a natural extension of our current industry programs.”

About NIRI Virtual Chapter
The NIRI Virtual Chapter (http://www.nirivirtual.org/phoenix.zhtml?c=142203&p=irol-home) was founded in 2002 by a group of NIRI members who were located in geographically distant locations across the United States that were not served by any of NIRI's 34 traditional bricks-and-mortar chapters. In four years, NIRI Virtual Chapter has become the second largest NIRI chapter as well as the most diverse group of investor relations professionals in the world. After expanding our reach to include IR experts living outside the United States, international members now represent nearly 40 percent of the NIRI Virtual Chapter. As of January 2007, our 425+ members span the globe and come from 43 states and 34 countries.
