Vcall/Communicast is a “Best Webcaster” Finalist by Network Computing

Vcall/Communicast designed from the beginning for large group collaboration

RICHMOND, VA – April 11, 2005 – WILink plc (LSE: WLK or WLK.L), a worldwide provider of web-based communication solutions and online investor relations services, announced the company’s solution, Vcall/Communicast, is a  “Best Webcaster” Finalist in CMP Media LLC’s Network Computing Well-Connected Awards in the “Digital Convergence” category.

Vcall/Communicast is a web communication solution ideally suited for the web events segment of web conferencing. Web events consist mainly of ‘one to many’ presentations where interactive features are critical to helping the presenter engage a large on-line audience. Webcasting solutions have infinite scalability, but typically do not provide a two-way dialog.  Many web conferencing solutions are designed for small group collaboration with a plethora of features to allow concurrent work, but these solutions lack scalability and ease of use.  Vcall/Communicast is a hybrid of the best of these technologies – designed from the beginning for large group collaboration.  The solution is cost effective across large audiences and provides an array of interactive tools and features to keep them engaged.

"For the 11th year in a row, Network Computing will be recognizing the most outstanding tech products and services in the networking and IT world in our Well-Connected award 4/28 issue," says Mike Lee, editor of Network Computing magazine.  "The awards are a snapshot in time, the best of what we evaluated over 12 months in our Real-World Labs® — more than 134 finalists in more than 44 categories have been named. The winners will be announced in our 4/28 issue."
