Balog will lead sales for Vcall, a service of WILink that combines innovative technology and experienced professional services that enable organizations to communicate relevant, engaging and influential information to their targeted audiences via the web.
Balog, a graduate of The Ohio State University, will relocate to WILink’s North American headquarters in Richmond, Virginia to manage the new sales division. Formerly, Balog was Vice President of Business Development for Communicast, a leading provider of managed web conferencing and webcasting solutions. WILink acquired Communicast in November 2004 as part of it’s expansion strategy for Vcall. The combined services offer solutions for web-based seminars, presentations, announcements, large meetings, training and research. The products require no proprietary software, offer the most interactive tools, and scale to audience sizes from two to thousands. Solutions include high-visibility managed web events, reservationless conferencing, audio/video streaming, and simulcasts. Services cover production support, event management, archiving/hosting and more.
“The synergies of Vcall and Communicast create exciting communication solutions for our merged client bases,” said Ken Balog, VP Sales for Web Events. “The combined product offering will deliver unprecedented functionality for interactive, web-based events. I am excited to be a part of WILink and to lead this division through the anticipated growth of the web conferencing and webcasting industries."
