
Vcall Releases Vcall / Communicast Version 3.4 with Cross-Browser and

RICHMOND, VA, January 13, 2005 – Vcall®, the leader in easy-to-use, full-featured event web conferencing, announced today the release of Vcall/Communicast™ version 3.4. Enhancements in the release include cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility and Microsoft Outlook integration with event registration. The solution also offers enhanced reporting for registration, replays and live events. Resellers will get great use from the new “Search” feature and “Sort Order” features found in the administrative area called the Green Room. The Vcall/Communicast technology is web-based, so no downloads are required to use the latest version.

About Version 3.4
The product is certified to run on multiple Internet browsers and computer operating systems so clients can have confidence when communicating to large, diversified or unknown audiences. The product enables Participant operability in live web events using: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, and Netscape for Windows operating systems; Internet Explorer, Firefox and Netscape for Macintosh operating systems; Firefox and Netscape for Linux operating systems.
The new version adds Microsoft Outlook integration to registration so users can conveniently click on the Outlook link within a registration to add a single event or series of events to his/her own Outlook calendar. There is also new "next slide" feature in the Presenter interface for those who want to present in a linear fashion. Registrant reports are now able to capture detailed data from registration, replays and live events.
Additional updates to the product include:
- Enhancements to CommuniStream™ audio/video player for Participants and Presenters
- Enabled One-Click Replays™ to archive a web event even when not streaming audio/video
- Enabled Q&A in Replays (archived web events)
- Enhancements to the Brainstormer™ interactive tool
- Enhanced Participant login to remember Participant’s first name, last name, and email upon returning to a web event
- Added a link for Participants to manually open an AppCast when stopped by “pop-up blocker” type software
